Learning Edge -Centre of Autism and Early Intervention has been set up under Autism Welfare Trust, started by the parents of those children who have developed this developmental disorder. The initiative has been started to provide the best in class facilities which will support in making positive difference in the lives of children affected by Autism in Kashmir.

The Aim of this Centre is providing all the required early intervention therapies using advance technologies and tools to the Autistic kids which otherwise are not readily available for Autism affected kids in Kashmir. This facility will be a boon for parents of affected kids who otherwise have to look for alternate options of either going to facilities outside Kashmir, or continue with non-appropriate options which at times prove detrimental to the health and mind of these kids.

Learning Edge -Centre of Autism and Early Intervention will be working for children from all strata of society irrespective of the nature of their economic conditions. As a basic principle adopted by institute almost 30% of the total enrolled kids will be supported by donations and donors through charity. Since costs involved in providing support to Autistic children is almost 6 to 7 times more than that of regular kids, there will be lot of support expected from likeminded people who can help us from their contribution in moving ahead in our journey as the kids come from various lower economic strata of our society.
